Write to us about anything: a question, a problem with the app, a church listing that needs fixing, or a request about your personal information. A real person reads every message, and we reply as soon as we can.

Report abuse or something that worries you

If a post, comment, message or person on Churchd is harassing, threatening, sexual, hateful, a scam or spam, please tell us.

1. Open the post, comment or conversation.
2. Tap the menu (the three dots).
3. Choose Report (in a conversation, Report as spam) and pick a reason.

When you report a conversation, you choose whether to include its latest messages so our safety team can see what happened. We can't read your private conversations otherwise.

We review reports and remove content and accounts that break our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. If you can't report something in the app, email support@churchd.com with a link or a description, and a screenshot if you have one.

If you see anything that sexualizes or endangers a child, report it in the app and email us right away. You can also report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Block someone

1. Tap the person's name or photo to open their profile, or open your conversation with them.
2. Choose Block user (in a conversation, it's in the menu with the three dots).
3. Confirm.

After you block someone, they can't message you on Churchd. You can unblock them any time from the same place.

Delete your account

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. The app shows what will be removed. Type DELETE, then confirm it's you with your password (or with Google, if you sign in with Google).

No longer have the app? Email support@churchd.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it within 7 days.

Common questions

Is Churchd free?

Yes. Churchd is free to use and has no ads.

I forgot my password.

Tap Sign in, then Forgot password?, and enter your email. We'll send you a link to set a new one.

A church's details are wrong or missing. How do I fix them?

If you lead the church, open its profile, go to the Connect tab and choose Claim this church so you can edit it. Anyone else can email us the correction. If a church isn't listed at all, search for it in Explore and choose Suggest a church.

How do I change my notifications?

Open Settings and go to Notifications. You can turn each kind on or off.

How do I switch between light and dark mode?

Open Settings and choose System, Light or Dark under Appearance. System matches your device.
